Demonstrations of all stages of development: from the instar (caterpillar) stage,
to the chrysalis, to the emergence of the brilliantly colored adult butterfly. You can hand feed the butters, too!
We welcome school groups, daycares, camps and other organizations to come and visit the farm. Tours of the facilities
can be scheduled, along with an age-appropriate lecture for our students. Open March through October.

One of the south's largest doll & miniature museum, featuring more than 2,500 dolls,
miniature displays, dollhouses, costumes and unusual artifacts, which includes the lifelong collection of one woman. Also
a special exhibit of over 115 Shirley Temple dolls, 17 African-American Personality dolls, and other rotating doll
and miniature exhibits. Groups and individuals welcome. Group guides by reservation. Mon-Fri 10 am-5 pm,
Saturday 9am-5pm and Sun 1-5 pm. Closed Mondays November-March. Free admission through February.

The High Point Community Concert Association is a volunteer organization which is
committed to bring world-class artists and musicians to High Point at a reasonable cost; and, to encourage music
appreciation with area schools and music teachers. The yearly concert series features an orchestra (North Carolina
Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, Greensboro Symphony and the Kiev Orchestra) and a variety of solo and ensemble musicians.
The Community Concert Association provides sets of tone chimes to area elementary schools and complimentary tickets
for music students to many of the concerts. To purchase season memberships or for further information,
please call 886-8100 or write the HPCCA at P.O. Box 5268, High Point, NC 27262. The HPCCA is a funded
affiliate of the High Point Area Arts Council.

transportation. The Hall of Commerce introduces you to High Point's many industries. Changing exhibits provide
a look at lifestyles through the years. Step back in time with costumed guides to tour the Blacksmith Shop and
1786 Haley House. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4:30pm and Sunday 1pm-4:30pm.

It provides to the residents and visitors of High Point and Guilford County full public library services.
It has a rich collection of nearly 400,000 books, music recordings, videotapes, audiobooks, periodicals,
